Hand Magnifiers

People with macular degeneration often discover that they a handheld magnifier can help them.  They use it when reading or doing other close work.  If something is bigger it's easier to see.  It's that simple.  Or is it?

How do you know if you have a good magnifier?  Many magnifiers have very distorted lenses.  Of course, that distorts what you are hoping to see better.  It is also difficult to hold a magnifier when you are reading, especially if you are reading something long.  It is almost impossible to sign a check while holding a hand magnifier.

If you have macular degeneration, Stargardt's disease, albinism or some other condition that has impaired your vision help is available.  Call me at 866 321-2030 for a free telephone consultation.  I'll tell you if you can be helped to see better.  There are better ways to help you see better than a simple hand magnifier.
