Tell Your Doctor You Want To See Better

If you have macular degeneration it is very important that you tell your eye doctor that you want help so you can see the very best that you can.  It is not uncommon for eye doctors to be so focused on monitoring and treating the macular degeneration that they overlook the fact that you want the best vision possible.  Often the doctor does not prescribe glasses of any type so they are not the one to improve your vision.  Thank the doctor for helping you maintain what vision you have.  Then ask to be referred to someone skilled in helping people with macular degeneration see better.  You need a low vision optometrist.  If the doctor can't make a referral I'd recommend that you Google "low vision ".  Of course, if you are in Virginia or a neighboring state you can call me.  You don't need a referral.

Call 866 321-2030 and ask for a complimentary telephone consultation.  I'll ask you a few questions and tell you if I can help you see better.  I'll explain what I can do for you.  I do not schedule an appointment unless I am quite certain that I'll be able to help you see better.  I want to help you remain active and independent.  Give me a call.
