Bioptic telescopic glasses for greater independence

Caroline returned to see me a few days ago. She's been using the bioptic telescopic glasses that I prescribed for 2 months and is very happy with them. She meets the DMV vision requirements for driving with bioptic telescopic glasses. Now she will take the driving test. I expect her to do well with that.
Because of her macular degeneration she had to give up some of her independence. Being able to drive again with the bioptic glasses is exciting to her. She'll be able to get in the car and go whenever she wants to.
